What a workspace is
A workspace is one company’s Leadey environment: its leads, campaigns, settings and team. Everything you do happens inside one, and nothing crosses between them. If you consult for several businesses, each gets its own.Meet the Cockpit
Sign in and you land on the Cockpit — your work for today rather than a dashboard of averages. It answers one question: who should I touch next, and why. Leave it for now; it becomes useful once there are leads to work. The left sidebar is grouped by what you are doing:Invite your team
Go to Settings → Team. Invite each person by email address. They get an invitation and appear in the list once they accept.Give them the right access
Leadey’s permissions are granular — you grant abilities, not job titles. Built-in roles cover most teams, and you can build your own when they don’t. Two settings matter more than the rest, because they decide what someone sees rather than what they can press:- Campaign access — whether a person sees every campaign, only the ones they are a member of, or none.
- Lead visibility — whether they see the whole database or only leads assigned to them.
Set these before anyone starts working. Widening access later is easy;
discovering a new rep has been calling another team’s accounts is not.
Top up credits
Credits pay for the lookups that cost us money — finding someone’s email address, finding their mobile number, pulling a company’s details. Everything else is included. Go to Settings → Credits to see your balance and buy more. Current costs are listed on that page; the balance also sits in the header so you can see it while you work.Searching is always free. You only spend credits when you ask for a contact
detail you didn’t already have — which means you can explore as much as you
like before committing to anything.
Set your workspace details
Settings → Organization carries your company name and the details that appear in outbound email footers. Fill it in now — some of it is a legal requirement for cold email in most jurisdictions, and it is easier to do once than to retrofit across every template.What you should have now
- A workspace with your team in it
- Roles set so people see the right campaigns and leads
- A credit balance
- Your company details filled in
