Video walkthrough coming soon.
Most countries do not let you simply buy a phone number. They require proof of who you are and where you are based, verified before the number is issued. That proof is a regulatory bundle, and it has to be approved before you can provision a number in those countries. This trips people up because the requirement is invisible until you try. You pick a UK mobile number, and Leadey tells you an approved bundle is required. This page is how to get one.

When you need one

A bundle is specific to a country and a number type. An approved UK bundle for local numbers does not let you buy a UK mobile number — that is a second bundle. Leadey checks for a matching approved bundle at the moment you try to provision, and tells you which one is missing.

Before you start

Have these ready. Gathering them mid-form is where the time goes:
  • Registered business name, exactly as it appears on your registration — not your trading name if they differ
  • Company registration number (a CRN in the UK) and the authority that issued it
  • Registered business address, including postcode
  • Company website
  • An authorised representative — a real person at the business, with their name, email and job title
  • Supporting documents as PDFs or images. Which documents are accepted varies by country; typically proof of registration and proof of address, such as a utility bill or bank statement in the business’s name at the registered address
The details must match your official registration exactly. A trading name instead of the registered name, or an office address instead of the registered one, is the most common reason a bundle is rejected — and a rejection means starting the review again.

Create the bundle

  1. Go to SettingsPhone LinesRegulatory Bundles
  2. Create a bundle and choose the country and number type it is for
  3. Fill in the business information, address and authorised representative
  4. Upload the supporting documents for that country
  5. Submit it for review

What the statuses mean

Approval typically takes a few business days. It is not instant, and it cannot be rushed, so start it before the day you need to be calling.

Then buy your number

Once the bundle is approved, go to SettingsPhone Lines and provision a number. Leadey attaches the matching approved bundle automatically — you do not select it.

If you are rejected

Read the reason given, fix exactly that, and resubmit. In order of how often they cause it:
  1. Business name not matching the official registration
  2. An address that is not the registered address
  3. A document that is expired, unreadable, or in a different name
  4. A representative who is not actually authorised to act for the business
  • Part 2 covers connecting everything else — mailboxes, calendars, LinkedIn
  • Part 8 covers using the numbers once you have them

Part 8 — Call with the Power Dialer

Work a call list, log outcomes, stay compliant.
