Video walkthrough coming soon.
Leadey does not send from a generic address on your behalf. It sends from your accounts — your mailboxes, your phone numbers, your LinkedIn profile — so replies come back to you and your reputation is yours. This part connects them. Everything here is under Settings, in the Email & Messaging and Calling groups.

Mailboxes

SettingsMailboxes. Connect each mailbox you want to send from:
  • Connect Gmail or Connect Outlook for a normal OAuth connection. You approve the access on Google or Microsoft’s own screen.
  • Connect via SMTP for anything else, including dedicated cold-outreach inboxes from a third-party provider.
Connect more than one and Leadey rotates between them, which spreads volume rather than hammering a single address.
Connect the mailbox you actually want replies in. Leadey reads that inbox to match replies to the right lead — if you send from an address nobody watches, the reply never finds its lead.

Sending domains

SettingsDomains. If you are doing cold outreach at volume, send from a separate domain rather than the one your company runs on. A deliverability problem on a cold domain should never be able to touch your real email. You can bring a domain you own, and Leadey will set up the DNS records that authorise it to send.

Calendars

SettingsCalendarsConnect Google Calendar or Connect Outlook Calendar. This does two things. It shows your real commitments so a booking link never offers a slot you are already busy in, and it pins meetings you have with people in your database onto their lead profile automatically.
Connect every calendar you actually book into. Availability is only as honest as the calendars Leadey can see, and a booking link that double-books you is worse than no booking link.

Phone lines

SettingsPhone Lines. Provision a number, or bring one you already own. This is what the Power Dialer calls from and what inbound calls arrive on. Two options worth knowing about:
  • Local Presence — call from a number in the same area code as the person you are calling. Answer rates are measurably better.
  • Number health — Leadey watches how your numbers are being treated and parks one that starts getting flagged as spam, before it drags your whole set down.

LinkedIn

Connect a LinkedIn account to send connection requests and messages as part of a workflow. Leadey respects LinkedIn’s own limits — it will not push volume that puts the account at risk.

WhatsApp

SettingsWhatsApp. Business messaging, with the rules that come with it. Outside a 24-hour window from the person’s last message, you can only send an approved template — that is Meta’s rule, not ours, and Leadey enforces it rather than letting a send fail silently.

Check it worked

  • A mailbox listed as connected, and marked as your default sender
  • A calendar listed, showing its email address
  • At least one phone line with an active status

What you should have now

Accounts connected for every channel you intend to use. Nothing has been sent yet — that comes once there are leads and a campaign.
